Conspicuous or Showy Aster (Eurybia conspicua (Aster conspicuus))
Perennial, upright stem, creeping rhizomes.
Leaves:   Sessile, oval lance.
Flowers: Light purple rays, yellow center; open inflorescence; often doesn't bloom in wooded sites.
Habitat:   Open hillsides, forest edges.
Range:    May be found in Washington, Oregon, Idaho (See on Moscow Mountain)
