Star Solomon's seal (Maianthemum stellatum formerly Smilacina stellata )

Maianthemum stellatum

Arched stem, often slightly offset between leaves. Blooms late spring, early summer.
Leaves:   Elliptical, pointed tip.
Flowers: White flowers in loose cluster, 12 or less. Longer stalk than large false Solomon's seal.
Fruit:     Berry green with brown, before turning to dark blue.
Habitat:   Moist places, forested areas.
Range:    May be found in Washington, Oregon, Idaho (See on Moscow Mountain).

Family:    Liliaceae
