Clustered green gentian(Frasera fastigiata)
Blooms early to mid summer.
Multiple stems can come from root, perennial plant, each stem unbranched and erect, 2-5' tall
Leaves:   Large, lettuce-type leaves (6-15"), whorl around stem
Flowers: Many blue or blueish-purple tubular flowers in a thick panicle at top of stem
Habitat:   Moist meadows, shaded wooded areas
Range:    Idaho, Washington, Oregon (See on Moscow Mountain)
